Exit the M6 at jct 36 and follow the A591 signposted for Kendal and the South Lakes. Follow this road for approximately 15 miles then take a left turn into Windermere, passing the Tourist Information Centre on your left. Continue through Windermere on this road and after 1 mile you will come to a hill with shops & restaurants. Montclare is on the right hand side towards the bottom of the hill just before the mini roundabout.
